Please read these company policies carefully before engaging with our services.

1. Anti-Bullying Policy

Power On Building Contracting LLC is committed to providing a work environment that is free from bullying, harassment and disrespectful behavior. This Anti-Bullying Policy outlines the companys stance on these issues and establishes procedures for reporting and addressing incidents of bullying. We strictly prohibit any form of bullying, harassment, or disrespectful behavior. This applies in the workplace, during work related events, and beyond working hours if it affects the work environment.

We are committed to ensure:

  • All employees and visitors are entitled to a workplace free from bullying, harassment, and any form of disrespectful behavior that may affect their mental or emotional well-being.
  • Bullying in any form is strictly prohibited at all POG work locations. This includes verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, humiliation, isolation, and any behavior intended to harm, offend, or degrade another individual.
  • Anyone found to be engaging in bullying behavior will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • All employees are expected to treat each other with respect and report any incidents of bullying without fear of retaliation.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful tone in all forms of communication, including emails and messages.
  • The company ensures compliance with all relevant legal and other requirements related to workplace harassment and takes corrective and disciplinary actions as necessary.

2. Drug and Alcohol Policy

Our Drug and Alcohol Policy and the principles defined in the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System are mandatory at all levels of POG and are adopted throughout our operations and activities. The purpose of the Drugs and Alcohol Policy is to ensure the safety and awareness of employees and to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.

POG is committed to conducting its business in a manner that protects the health and safety of its employees and sub-contractors through the following principles:

Drug Policy:

  • Illegal and non-prescription drugs are not permitted at any POG work location.
  • Anyone found to be in possession, or under the influence of drugs will be subject to termination and shall be reported to the relevant authorities as applicable.
  • All personnel working at POG locations may be subject to search if they are suspected of being in possession of drugs.
  • Refusal by any employee to submit to a search may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • It is the responsibility of all employees taking any medication to report to their line Manager and present the prescribed medication for review.
  • Personnel taking prescribed medication shall abide by the warnings and dosage instructions provided on the label of the medication or by the person prescribing the medication.

Alcohol Policy:

  • Alcohol is not permitted at any POG work location regardless of whether the location is onshore or offshore.
  • Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol will be subject to termination.
  • Contractors found to be under the influence of alcohol will be removed from company premises.

3. Energy Policy

POWER ON BUILDING CONTRACTING LLC is a Contracting Company and as such, this policy statement covers all activities of the organization whether directly or indirectly involved in Contracting activities and supporting infrastructure.

Our aim at POG is for continual improvement in Energy Performance. This includes, where possible, preventing energy usage at source, taking into consideration business objectives, employees, the local community, and continual improvement of the Energy Management System.

In particular:

  • To develop and maintain an Energy Management System with the aim of meeting the requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard.
  • To uphold legal and other requirements regarding energy use, consumption and efficiency.
  • To ensure continual improvement in our energy performance and EnMS.
  • To ensure information and resources to achieve our objectives and targets.
  • To minimize energy usage through consideration of energy performance improvements in design and modification of our facilities, equipment, systems and processes.
  • To reduce any processes where energy concerns exist, where practicable.
  • To ensure that future manufacturing processes and related service activities are given due energy usage consideration.
  • To communicate this policy to our customers and suppliers to encourage their involvement.
  • To promote and encourage policy awareness amongst employees and increase awareness by improvement Training.
  • To support the purchase of energy efficient products and services, that contribute to improved energy performance.

4. HSE Policy

People are considered the most valuable assets of our organization and thus health and safety of employees is given paramount importance. We believe the protection of environment is our duty and preservation of natural resources for future generations is our obligation.

We are committed to ensure:

  • Employees and visitors accessing our work places are protected from all kinds of workplace illness and injuries through adequate operational controls established based on hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Environmental impact from our operations is minimised to the possible extent by assessing the environmental aspects and establishing adequate operational controls including waste management.
  • Compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and environmental legal and other requirements prevailing in the geographical locations where we operate.
  • Consultation and participation of all level of employees in the organization in the implementation and improvement of the management system.

The management of POWER ON BUILDING CONTRACTING L.L.C. is committed to periodically reviewing the HSE Policy and objectives to ensure their ongoing suitability. We are also dedicated to complying with customer and regulatory requirements and continually improving the effectiveness of our HSE management system.
